To get the best out of GearLAB on Facebook's ad platform, it's highly recommended to follow these guidelines for an efficient setup.
Create Audiences#
It's a great idea to create your own set of Audiences to streamline Ad Set launches and make them more reliable. Facebook offers two types of Audiences, and you can use their documentation to build them effectively.
Saved Audience
In your business, you're likely accustomed to offering products with specific targeting that you frequently reuse. To save time, minimize errors, and optimize your workforce, it's a good idea to create one or more standard audiences tailored to your business and reuse them whenever possible.
First, create your saved audience on Facebook. GearLAB will automatically fetch these saved audiences from your Facebook ad account, allowing you to select them for your ad set project.
Once a Saved Audience is chosen, all other targeting options for your ad set will be disabled, and only the Saved Audience will be applied.
Excluded Audience
When selecting a broad audience, this option allows you to refine targeting by applying specific filters. For example, you can exclude certain countries from your audience. To do this, first create your excluded audiences in your Facebook Ad Account. GearLAB will then fetch these excluded audiences from your account, allowing you to select one for the ad set project if needed.
